Salma's passion to increase her academic knowledge lead her on the path to nutrition. She developed a keen interest in health and wellbeing from an early age, but it wasn't until her late 20s that Salma began pursuing her long-standing passion. She enrolled on a few different nutrition programs all at the same time, starting off quite adventurously with a masters degree. Much to her delight it was whilst she was studying nutrition that her first nutrition article was published, this too was another dream of Salma’s to become a published writer.

After stumbling upon much misfortunes, and as a result developing food allergies, Salma is a firm believer of supporting the body through life's endless roller coaster ride. She understands that our bodies respond to every kind of stress the same, whatever the source. Appearing in many forms, stress may manifest as a Physical force (e.g. illness & over-exertion), and as Toxic stress (e.g. poor food choices & intake of medications), as well as Emotional turmoil.

Salma acknowledges that there's no getting away from the ebb and flow of life - she believes in supporting the body with nourishment to make it more resilient to whatever life throws at it.
